Memorial Day Ceremony

With the pandemic on the wane it was finally possible again for people to come out and show thanks and respect for our heroes. I decided to take some photos at the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Ceremony.

With thanks to Jeanne Aulbach for documenting that I was indeed there.

  1. It was wonderful to see this memorial celebration, Ludwig, and also that there was a fair number of participants and observers. Here in Nashua, NH, the Memorial Day parade was cancelled for the second consecutive year. It's just as well since the entire weekend was nothing but a washout with rain and chilly temps. Then a few days later, temps were in the 90s.

    1. Thank you Beatrice. Weather can be so temperamental. We were very lucky. As you saw from the photos it was a glorious day here. It was also the first time that people gathered and returned to more normal routines.
