Evening is such a splendid time for a stroll. The “golden hour” to photographers, when the sunlight bathes everything in a golden glow. But when the sun disappears below the horizon and light fades, taking pictures becomes more difficult.
Of course there are the sunset photo opportunities.
But don’t give up there, there is more that your camera can capture. The sky will have light for some great silhouettes. Here are some of mine.
Look around, there may be plenty of opportunities for evening photos. And when it finally gets really too dark, look up. You never know what the sky might hold.

Thank you, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI saw your gorgeous photos in your blog (folks, you must see: http://daysremembered.wordpress.com/) and on Flickr! No comparison, I tip my hat to you!
Just too bad that I haven't figured out how to make it into a hyperlink.
DeleteSunsets are among my favorite time of day, Ludwig, because what was an ordinary looking sky is suddenly a palette of color. The moon shot is beautiful too in its simplicity. Thanks for the tip about Linda's photos...will go there next.
