It's about the same here on the VA eastern shore, Ludwig, except that we are using the lawn mover to mulch and pick up the leaves and then re-using them as mulch in our wildflower garden. About now we are wishing for snow, but sadly have none, instead it's a dreary, damp, foggy overcast Sunday here.
Yes, we are having fun with the leaves. I have used the mower to mulch in place a couple of times but did not want to overdo that. After raking I have been dragging them to my "wattle". You should see the pile!
